Kate works as the Managing Consultant and Managing Lawyer with Workplace Wizards. She is an experienced and passionate employment and industrial relations lawyer with years of experience in enterprise bargaining, all areas of employment law, and advocacy before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals. She also has expertise in governance, compliance and risk management. In the broad field of industrial relations, her specific areas of interest lie within dispute resolution, discrimination law and litigation.
Prior to joining Workplace Wizards, Kate worked for seven years as an employment lawyer with a leading national law firm that specialises in employment & industrial law. She has also worked in industry superannuation and as a trade union industrial officer.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws. Before studying law and discovering her talent for the employment and industrial relations sector, Kate was an archaeologist and worked across numerous development sites within Victoria! She is an avid supporter of the Western Bulldogs and when she’s not working you can find her spending time with her husband, kids, and family.
