  • EBA Negotiation: negotiated new enterprise agreements and provided end-to-end support (including liaising with the relevant trade unions).
  • On-going Support: provided ‘on demand’ industrial relations support and advice for numerous health sector clients.
  • Policy and Procedures: prepared workplace policies and helped implemented procedures to manage performance and absenteeism issues.
  • Workplace Investigations: conducting comprehensive workplace investigations into serious allegations made against employees.
  • Dispute Mediation: conducted meditations to resolve employee disputes and complaints.
  • Advice on Legislation: assisted the largest single provider of community based palliative care services in Victoria respond to the challenges presented (to a Christian-faith palliative organisation) by the introduction of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2017 (Vic). This included creating new procedures and staff training programs, ensuring staff awareness of the new legislative obligations, and responding to resultant issues.
  • Specialist Investigation: conducted a specialist investigation for an independent, not-for-profit residential home in Melbourne providing exceptional aged care for over 50 years, concerning serious allegations raised. This included assisting the senior leaders of the organisation ‘get to the bottom’ of the complaint made, make findings and recommendations, and resolve a difficult, sensitive issue for the organisation.
