Workplace Wizards was named the proud winner of the 2022 Client Choice Awards in the category of ‘Best HR Consulting Firm (<$30m revenue). Presented by FirmChecker and Beaton, with the support of a range of industry partners, the Client Choice Awards are client judged awards for professional services.
Workplace Wizards, who have maintained a consistently high FirmChecker score (currently sitting at 9.1) alongside a stream of positive reviews, were nominated, judged and given this win by clients who have worked with the hard working and fiercely dedicated team behind the WW banner. Most importantly, this award is an indication of an effective business ethos of ‘doing HR differently’ – providing tailored and unique services to businesses with a focus on people at the centre of it all. It was this idea that served as the foundation on which Workplace Wizards was built on. The founders, Susanna, and Mark Ritchie – who are the current Director and Managing Director of Workplace Wizards respectively – have both previously worked as lawyers in a range of high profile national and local businesses, including at large law firms and as in-house lawyers for large companies and government agencies.
In a recent interview conducted by Beaton, Mark and Susanna touched on their experience and how it gave rise to the establishment of Workplace Wizards:
‘‘We had experienced the frustration that many clients experience with traditional advisory services when experiencing a people problem… we believed there had to be a better way to deliver employment law and workplace relations services that was better, more enjoyable and achieved better results.”
This desire added a fresh twist to the usually conservative and confusing face of employment law. Providing innovative and uniquely tailored solutions to HR and IR issues faced by Australian businesses has proven itself to be a winning strategy. Beyond this Client Choice Award win, the demand for WW services has recently seen the expansion of the team and addition of more experienced consultants, paralegals, and operational staff in just the last month alone to meet demand and continue delivering high quality services.
As stated by Susanna and Mark in their Beaton interview, “our goal was to deliver fit for purpose solutions to help our clients’ people problems disappear, and make clients feel good about their experience” and there’s affirmation in Workplace Wizards’ great reviews, feedback and this award that affirms the fact that the team is indeed ‘…hitting the mark when it comes to client service and what we set out to achieve’.
